Caren brings to the firm more than 25 years experience in marketing, public relations, advertising, broadcast communications, marketing and management. Since founding the company in 1989, Caren has successfully planned, implemented and managed campaigns for corporations, national and international trade associations, government agencies and non-profit organizations throughout the country, including such prestigious clients as Pfizer, GSK, Wyeth, the American Heart Association, American College of Radiology, American Podiatric Medical Association, National Restaurant Association, American Pharmacists Association Foundation, American Petroleum Institute, Social Security Administration, International Dairy Foods Association (Got Milk?) and Amnesty International.
Dennis Kleinman, Senior Vice President, Creative Services
Dennis is an award-winning producer, director and writer of high-end corporate, educational, broadcast, commercial and short- and long-formproductions. He has written and produced print and video annual reports and brochures, commercials and PSAs, print, video and radio news releases, CDs, DVDs, infomercials and training, informational, trade show and marketing videos for companies like Xerox, Siemens, Microsoft, Digital and the Wharton School of Business. Dennis has also worked successfully in television, writing and producing documentaries and entertainment programming for the History Channel, Discovery, National Geographic, VH1 and Women’s Entertainment.
Julie Well, Senior Vice President for Public Relations
With more than 25 years experience in public relations and marketing, Julie has developed and implemented a wide range of strategic communications programs to support the objectives of national association, corporate and agency clients. She develops key messages and creative plans to educate and engage all types of target audiences, including the business community, consumers, influencers and the media. Drawing on experience including health care, food and consumer products, she creates media relations plans and materials, develops position papers, identifies speaking and outreach opportunities, writes presentations, designs communication plans and materials, and writes leadership tools.
Carol Blymire, Vice President for Public Affairs
With more than 20 years of public affairs and strategic communications management experience, Carol's key focus is on policy communications, message development and positioning, speechwriting, member communications efforts and grassroots outreach. Having worked with such prestigious clients as the Social Security Administration, the Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research, Raytheon, the Parkinson’s Action Network, Fannie Mae, the Richard Gere Foundation and the New York Public Library, Carol’s public affairs and internal and external communications expertise enables our clients to advance their initiatives on Capitol Hill and across the country.
Jayme Soulati, Vice President, Media Relations
Jayme has an expansive 20-year career in public relations and marketing with an emphasis on media relations. For 18 years, she worked in the Chicago public relations community, garnering a keen strategist orientation to program execution that aligns business goals with communications objectives. Her expertise spans myriad industries with a specialty in business and medical that includes a stint in international cardiology for an academic medical center. As a senior strategist, Jayme brings innate insight to the business of media relations; specifically, creating news angles that sell, determining how, when and to whom to pitch and preparing spokespeople to deliver messages that resonate.
Amy Schaeffer, Director of Communications
Amy has more than 20 years experience in public relations and broadcast communications, creating and implementing programs and campaigns for a wide variety of clients, including national corporations, trade associations and non-profits. Working together with our clients, she helps them identify their target audiences, create effective messaging and develop and implement programs that achieve their objectives. She also has produced numerous videos on a wide range of topics and utilizes her media relations experience to generate print, radio and television coverage for our clients.
Ben Mackler and Darrin Raaum, Senior Interactive and Print Graphic Designers
Ben and Darrin each bring to ECI nearly 20 years experience designing and creating effective, exciting and award-winning logos, websites, CDs, DVDs, annual reports, magazines, newsletters, brochures and other collateral materials for such prestigious clients as Eli Lilly, NIH, the Centers for Disease Control, MCI, Reuters, U.S. Department of Agriculture, INOVA Health Systems, the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, the World Bank, U.S. Forest Service and the Library of Congress.
